New Zealand Greens doing well as election approaches

The New Zealand election will be held on 26 November and the Greens campaign is going well, with opinion polls putting them consistently at 10% of the vote. If this vote holds to the election the Greens will increase their numbers in the parliament MPs from 9 to 13. The Greens election slogan is “For a richer New Zealand” – see billboard advertisement below. The NZ election campaign manager says this slogan responds to research that shows many Green leaning votes were not recognising the Greens on economic issues.
