Authoritarian Trump
We condemn the authoritarian actions of Donald Trump since returning to the Office of
President of the United States of America.
Donald Trump’s authoritarian actions to remove the equality, diversity and the dignity of
his own people and other people of the world to create Peace does not achieve Peace.
Donald Trump’s authoritarian actions of using the economic and resource dominance
of his Country as tools to force other Countries towards his perceived vision of Peace
does not achieve Peace.
Donald Trump’s authoritarian actions to remove his Country’s support for funding of US
foreign humanitarian aid, the International Treaty on Climate Change and the World
Health Organisation does not achieve Peace.
His reversal of reproductive freedom and citizens’ rights does not achieve Peace.
His shut down of key government departments such as education and the environment
protection agency does not achieve Peace.
These actions are not to be celebrated as from the leader of a Democratic and Peaceful
Country. Instead, they ought to be condemned as authoritarian actions that erode
humanitarian norms, the international rules-based order, and laws supporting state
sovereignty.
