We know that these two nuclear accidents remain unresolved, casting a dark shadow over our future.
We know about the people who continue to live with the harmful health impacts of radiation.
We know about the people who have been forced to evacuate their homes because of these nuclear accidents – and they are still unable to return to their homes.
We need politics to listen to even the smallest voices from regions still suffering from high radiation levels.
We need social consensus to prevent this kind of tragedy from re-occuring in the future.
We need international cooperation to shape sustainability for the present and for this planet.
We need a nuclear-free future.
The Green Party of Japan will work toward a nuclear-free society – a sustainable society.
30 years after Chernobyl and 5 years after Fukushima, we have not forgotten about the tragedy caused by these two nuclear accidents.
The Green Party of Japan, along with Green Parties around the world, will continue to work towards a nuclear-free and peaceful future.
