For the SG, Mr Stéphane Dujarric
Spokesman for the Secretary-General

Israel, our APGF demand that you immediately cease and desist from committing any more atrocious violations and war
crimes on Gaza, and the Palestinians. We condemn your unjust blockades imposed on Gaza – it has exacerbated an
unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, directly affecting defenseless civilians, particularly children, women, the
disabled, the elderly and all Peoples of the State of Palestine.
The systematic starvation of civilians and their deprivation of the most basic necessities of life constitute a flagrant
violation of international humanitarian law and all moral and humanitarian standards. We warn that the continuation of this
siege and the complicity of the Arab and others in the international community, whether through silence or inaction,
portend a social and humanitarian explosion and the possibility of mass famine threatening the lives of millions of
Palestinian civilians.
We are calling on the UN Security Council to take immediate action to stop this tragedy, in accordance with the principle
of “Responsibility to Protect,” adopted by the United Nations in 2005. It must also fully lift the blockade, open safe
corridors to ensure the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid, and hold accountable those responsible for these horrific
crimes. The cry of Gaza’s children today is the cry of the global human conscience.
Israel, We demand you immediately cease and desist from attacks on the State of Palestine.

Thank You
